What's your favorite FREE curriculum resource?

Times are tough in America due to the recession and a lot of people have asked me, “Where can I find FREE homeschool curriculum materials?” Well, are there some savvy homeschool moms and students who would like to share their favorite resources here?

Personally, I love Khan academy. Salman Khan used to be a hedge fund manager but gave it up to start teaching the world for FREE through his videos on khanacademy.org. As a math teacher I always tell my students to check him out…

So what’s your favorite free curriculum resource??

Comment below!!

all the best,

  1. There are many great sites to help homeschoolers create a free curriculum. I love khan academy by the way, he makes math seem simple.
For planning and organizing the curriculum some of my favorite sites are donnayoung.org, http://www.livingwellspendingless.com/our-homeschool-planner/ and http://www.tinasdynamichomeschoolplus.com/home/.
My favorite sites for worksheets and activities are http://www.superteacherworksheets.com/, http://www.education.com/worksheets/ and http://www.busyteacherscafe.com/printables.html.
All it takes is some creativity and you can make your own free curriculum suited to your families needs! I created my own curriculum for my kids up until 4th grade, but then gave in and bought a curriculum for my eldest so I could concentrate on the others.
